Meet Trimal S1: a new chapter in all-in-one outdoor cooking

Australia, June 2025 — We’re excited to introduce Trimal, a new BBQ brand from the team behind Z Grills Australia. Leading the way is the premium Trimal S1 pellet smoker and all-in-one grill built to bring more of the cooking you love into one place.

Smoke a brisket for the weekend, grill steaks over an open flame, turn a chicken on the rotisserie or make pizza for the family. The S1 brings those possibilities together, with cooking equipment and accessories to suit the way you want to cook.

One grill, so many ways to cook

Low-and-slow barbecue will always have a place at our table. But we wanted a grill that could also handle the everyday meals and spontaneous cook-ups that make an Aussie backyard feel like home.

The Trimal S1 lets you smoke, grill, roast and bake. With the appropriate accessories fitted, you can cook on a full-size hotplate, prepare pizza with the pizza oven insert, or put the rotisserie to work over charcoal.

That means you can plan a long Sunday cook or fire up something for dinner during the week. It’s an all-in-one approach that gives you room to try different dishes and find new favourites, without making every meal a barbecue project.

Cooking accessories vary by bundle, so choose the setup that includes the equipment you want to use.

Our community made this possible

Trimal exists because of the people who have been part of Z Grills Australia. Every question, suggestion, shared cook and honest piece of feedback helped us understand what a better all-in-one grill could offer.

We asked our owners what they would want in their ideal BBQ. You told us how you cook, what you love and what you wish your grill could do. Experienced owners, chefs and BBQ enthusiasts helped us work through those ideas.

The S1 grew out of those conversations. We’re proud of the grill, and we’re especially excited to share it with the community that helped make it happen. Thank you to everyone who contributed.

The next chapter in our backyard cooking story

Trimal carries forward the same purpose that brought us to Z Grills Australia: helping people enjoy cooking outdoors and sharing good food with the people around them.

The premium S1 is our starting point. Over time, we intend to move into the outdoor kitchen market. We’re also exploring the possibility of gas grills and smaller grills, so more people can find a setup that fits their space and the way they cook.

Those are ambitions for the future, with no specific products or launch dates announced. For now, we can’t wait to see what you cook on the Trimal S1.
