At 16 kg in the standard configuration with cooking racks installed, the Mini is built to travel. Its 5052 aluminium body provides low weight with excellent corrosion resistance, and the 304 stainless-steel lids are easy to clean and look great.
For the caravan, the 4WD or a smaller outdoor space at home, the Mini delivers versatile cooking in a compact footprint.

Run the Mini from a compatible 12V battery or car cigarette lighter when you’re away. Use the supplied 5 metre cigarette lighter plug cable with a 12V outlet rated to supply at least 60W continuously for startup. Average power consumption is 3W.
At home, connect the supplied AC/DC adapter to a standard 240V AC power point. Wood pellets supply the cooking heat; electricity runs the grill’s components.

The dedicated pizza attachment has a 33 cm square cordierite stone and a temperature sensor that plugs into the Mini’s controller.
The wood pellet fire heats the stone directly. Select Pizza Oven mode so the controller can monitor the temperature inside the pizza oven.

The sloped drip tray drains grease into a bin at the front. Once the grill has cooled, the removable drip tray and lift-out ash tray make it easy to clean up for the next cook.

FAQs about the Trimal Mini
What can I cook on the Mini?
Smoke low and slow, grill everyday meals and sear over an open flame. The seasoned steel hot plate adds flat-plate BBQ, while the pizza attachment adds a dedicated pizza oven setup. The charcoal tray opens up even more cooking possibilities.
What battery pack do I need?
Choose a battery pack with a 12V cigarette lighter outlet capable of continuously supplying at least 60W, as required during startup. Average power consumption is 3W. Check the outlet rating and connector compatibility, not just the overall power rating of the battery pack. Battery capacity determines runtime.
Can I use it at home?
Yes. The supplied AC/DC adapter lets you power the Mini from a standard 240V AC household power point for outdoor cooking at home.
Does it still need wood pellets?
Yes. Wood pellets provide the cooking heat and wood-fire flavour, with smoke flavour at low temperatures. The 12V DC electrical supply runs the controller and internal components, including fire ignition, air ventilation and pellet feeding.
Will it fit in my caravan tunnel?
The Mini is designed with compact travel storage in mind, with packed dimensions of 640 × 408 × 305 mm with the standard folding legs, or 315 mm tall using the U-feet (bolted in a tray). Check the packed configuration against your tunnel opening and allow room for accessories. Storage fit does not mean it can be operated inside the tunnel.
What is the hot plate made from?
The Mini hot plate is a durable 3 mm thick seasoned steel plate. Like any seasoned steel cookware, wash, dry and then oil it after each use. It is included with the Basic and Pro Bundles, but not Grill Only. Follow the supplied care instructions for cleaning and storage.
How does the pizza oven work?
The pizza oven has a 33 cm square cordierite pizza stone and is heated directly by the wood pellet fire. Plug the supplied temperature sensor into the Mini’s control panel and select Pizza Oven mode. The controller will monitor the oven temperature.
Are the hot plate and pizza oven included?
The seasoned steel hot plate is included in the Basic and Pro Bundles. It is not included with Grill Only. The pizza oven is sold separately for $160 and is not included in any bundle. Select Yes under Pizza Oven to add it to your order. All three options include the 5 metre 12V DC cigarette lighter plug cable and AC/DC adapter.
